HOW TO BUILD PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SPIRITUAL STRENGTH 


SILENCE IS POTENTIALITY.  IT IS A STATE OF AWARENESS WHEREIN YOU LIVE. 

 

This state of awareness gets polluted by your thoughts if they are negative or emerge from the past.  This pollution impacts the QUALITY OF LIFE YOU LIVE, THE LEVEL OF HAPPINESS, SADNESS, EMPTINESS, JOY or ANXIETY you experience. It affects how you think, how you feel and how you act. It also affects your family, friends, love relationships, workplace and peer relationships. You literally generate and live in energy bubbles or magnetic fields.

Remember, like attracts like. Human magnetic energy finds its mirror in other humans with the same energy or level of pollution or harmony of mind.

This can also be described as a LEVEL OF CONSCIOUSNESS that is dictated and controlled by the quality of your thoughts. 

SO HOW DO I CHANGE MY LEVEL OF CONSCIOUSNESS?

1. By changing the quality of my thoughts.

2. By changing the focus of my attention.

3. By changing the way I think.

4. By changing my values of what’s important.

5. By focusing on HIGHER TRUTHS.

BY CHANGING ANY ONE OF THE FIVE ABOVE YOU CHANGE ALL OF THEM

Consciousness is your GPS system. It allows you to understand what is happening in your immediate environment and the world. It is your "place holder" and helps you perceive where you are, what is happening and what you should do. Behavior is a BYPRODUCT of feelings and staters of awareness. If you perceive danger or a threat in your environment, then you will feel fear and react in the way your personality has developed over decades. Some people react to feeling afraid with anger and lash out defensively. Others want to run away, and finally there are those who were so severely abused that they feel like they will die. This is all due to the LIMBIC system taking over your thinking and behavior. If you have practiced STILLNESS enough, you will not react but continue to observe out of curiosity and then make a more holistic choice in how to respond.

BUT JUST EXACTLY HOW DO WE DO THAT?

This requires daily dedication and setting an intention, much like setting your GPS for the day.  Being mindful of what you are thinking and focusing your attention on the quality of your thoughts, is how you get to where you going. This is how you manifest your intention. 

One of the many methods available has two steps: the a.m. and the p.m.

THE A.M. PROCESS: VISUALIZING YOUR INTENTIONS FOR THE DAY 

Getting up:

First: Before or after shower engage a morning stillness practice.

 Exhale and calm your mind.  When you realize you are not thinking as many thoughts say to yourself, "I want to be the best version of myself today as possible."  

This is called intentionally visualizing my goals, in which I consciously remind myself to ask the Universe to help me be positive and lift others up.

Second: Continue calming the mind down by breathing and focusing on your exhale. When you exhale you are saying to your body "release the stress." Focus on the Silence, the inner stillness. Focus is intentionality. It IS consciousness. I Intentionally set your mind to be calm and centered in a God-conscious state. 

Third:  Rest at the bottom of your exhalation. Wait for the next inhale and focus on the silence. This reduces the noise of the human mind and its compulsive thinking. It  allows you to focus on silence instead of mental noise.

After clearing your mind, again begin to focus on the Silence. Feel the peace, safety and security you have now. As you develop this skill, you will acquire the Stillness which you will feel in your heart as well as in the Silence of your thought processes. It takes awhile to get there, depending upon your personal devotion and intention, but when you attain this connection with your heart, mind and body, you will have reached a higher level of consciousness where peace and healing are found. This is called the HEART LIGHT CENTER.  

Spend a few minutes in the morning doing this.  

THE P.M. PROCESS  

First: A half hour before bed, turn off all media

At the end of the day you need to release the tension of the day. Now is the time to let go of it ALL.   

First: Close your eyes. Practice breathing and exhaling and letting go of your thoughts. When you exhale say, "The day is done. Let it go." You are commanding your body to release the tension through the exhale. Continue to breathe deeply and exhale deeply for a one to two minutes, focusing on slowing your breath and slowing your thoughts. 

If you have a thought that arises, let it go. 

Second: Become consciously aware of all your blessings. List them in your mind and feel the safety and security you have now. Tomorrow is a new day and you will set your goals in the morning for what is important for the day. 

Third: After clearing your mind, again begin to focus on the Silence. Feel the peace, safety and security you have now. As you develop this skill, you will acquire the Stillness which you will feel in your heart as well as in the Silence of your thought processes. It takes awhile to get there, depending upon your personal devotion and intention, but when you attain this connection with your heart, mind and body, you will have reached a higher level of consciousness where peace and healing are found. This is called the HEART LIGHT CENTER. 

THE MORNING SESSION IS TO SET YOU MIND FOR THE DAY.

THE EVENING SESSION IS TO CLEAR YOUR MIND AND HEART SO THAT YOU CAN GET A GOOD NIGHT'S REST.
